Genre TV Grid – Week of Jan. 19: Star Trek: Picard, Avenue 5 debut

Jean Luc Picard makes his long-awaited and much anticipated return on CBA All Access Thursday with the debut of Star Trek: Picard, a series that tells the post-Starfleet life of the former captain of the Enterprise.

Comedic space opera Avenue 5 debuts on HBO Sunday. It is from the award-winning writers who worked on Veep. Debuting on Netflix this week are two new series: October Faction and The Ghost Bride.

Returning for its third season Friday is Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Returning from hiatus are Batwoman and Supergirl on CW.
